The Hand and Arm Protector is designed to reduce the risk of high-speed impacts common behind the plate. According to studies conducted using a CADEX Linear Impact Testing Machine at two major universities, the Hand and Wrist Protector can reduce the energy of a kinetic impact by up to 70 percent.
The Hand and Arm Protector works by absorbing and redistributing the kinetic energy of an impact that could otherwise lead to a potential hand and wrist injury.
Material
The Hand and Arm Protector is made of a proprietary high-density thermoplastic elastomer (TPE) with Aircell polymers. It weighs 5 ounces. It reforms after every impact, providing continual protection. The material is tough, lightweight, and waterproof, which allows it to be used in all conditions.
